Image requirements for renewing a Pakistani passport

The Pakistani Passport Office requires all passport photos to meet strict guidelines in order to be accepted for use on a Pakistani passport. Please ensure that your photo meets the following criteria:

• The photo must be in color and taken against a light blue or off-white background
• The photo must be a recent, clear, and well-lit image of your full face, with no shadows or reflections on your face or the background
• You must have a neutral expression and your mouth must be closed
• You must be facing forward, looking straight at the camera with your head and shoulders square to the camera
• Your eyes must be open, visible, and free from reflection or glare from glasses (if you wear them)
• You must not wear anything that covers your head or face, unless it's for religious or medical reasons
• You must not wear any sunglasses or tinted glasses, unless it's for medical reasons
• Your photo must be printed to a high standard on plain white photographic paper, without any borders
• Your photo must measure 35mm x 45mm, with the height of the face measuring between 32mm and 36mm
